1. Who we are
Cyberwhiz Technology ("Cyberwhiz", "we", "us", "our") is a limited liability company organized in the State of New Jersey, United States. Our registered address is Tower Mhp, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. You can reach our team at help-desk@cyberwhiz.org or (201) 690-7362.
We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website (cyberwhiz.org) and the Sentinel API (api.cyberwhiz.org).
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out an intake form, a contact form, or redeem a partner code, we collect the fields you submit. Typically this includes your name, work email, company, role, and a description of the project. We do not require anything beyond what is asked.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page on cyberwhiz.org or call the Sentinel API, our infrastructure records the request, including your IP address, user agent, referring URL, and the time of the request. These logs are retained for 30 days.
Cookies
The marketing site uses one strictly necessary cookie to remember your session. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not embed third party trackers.
3. How we use it
We use personal information for four purposes:
- Responding to inquiries - to reply to your form submission and route it to the right person on our team.
- Delivering services - to fulfill any engagement you have with us, including operating the Sentinel API for you.
- Security - to detect abuse, prevent fraud, and investigate incidents affecting our systems.
- Compliance - to meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to train machine learning models. We do not share it with advertising networks.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with subprocessors who help us run the business, and only under written data processing agreements. Our current subprocessors:
- Amazon Web Services - hosting for cyberwhiz.org and api.cyberwhiz.org (US East, US West regions).
- Postmark - transactional email delivery.
- Stripe - payment processing for Sentinel subscriptions.
- Google Workspace - internal email and document collaboration.
We may disclose personal information if required by a valid legal process. If we ever receive a request that we believe is overbroad, we will push back to the extent the law allows, and we will notify you unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
5. How long we keep it
- Contact form and intake submissions: 24 months from the date received.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Client engagement records: for the duration of the engagement and 7 years after, per accounting requirements.
- Sentinel account data: for the life of the account, then deleted within 60 days of cancellation.
6. Where it is stored
All personal information is stored on servers physically located in the United States. If you access our services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
7. How we protect it
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3. All data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Access to production systems is limited to on call engineers, gated by SSO with hardware key MFA, and logged. We run quarterly access reviews and an annual third party penetration test.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your personal information, subject to our retention obligations.
- Object to certain processing activities.
- Receive a portable copy of your information.
- Withdraw consent you have given us.
To exercise any of these rights, email help-desk@cyberwhiz.org. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this notice
If we materially change this notice, we will post the updated version here and note the change at the top of this page. Non material changes (typos, clarifications) will be made without notice.
